SECD- Hermitage Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for someone with a well-rounded personality who easily flows with situations throughout the course of the day. Is open to continual learning leads by example enjoys people and the field of dentistry. ** Dental Experience Required* We are looking for someone who is great at creating a positive first and lasting impression for each patient, whether in person or on the phone. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, assists in managing administrative records, as well as, financial records such as insurance billing and payments. Additionally, this position is responsible for the coordination for office routines and procedures and includes reminder calls about scheduled appointments, follow-ups, or cleanings. Helps to keep the office organized and running smoothly. Exhibits a positive countenance to every patient experience. Front Desk Responsibilities: Develops and maintains Doctor/hygienist schedule to meet practice goals. Responsible for answering incoming calls to include: new patient calls, emergencies, requesting records, and follow-ups. Also to include confirming all scheduled patient appointments. Manage unscheduled list, asap list, treatment pending list, to ensure patient follow through to meet scheduling goals. Greet and check patients in and out for and after treatment. Accurately verify patients dental benefits. Educate and consult patients discussing treatment needs and presenting treatment plans. Increase and stimulate new patient growth by supporting marketing and promotional programs, to include recall cards, continuing care calls, referral letters, and working with referrals. Document patient dental treatments and financial transactions, to include the signing of financial arrangements, prepayments for large cases, financing, and charges collection. Maintain a high level of customer service at all times and their detailed records in a fast-paced environment. Make pre-treatment financial arrangements with patients. Accounts Receivable knowledge on: billing dental insurance, posting payments, and claim estimations. Balance income and charges and prepare deposits. Sending of billing statements, aging reports, and collections. Responds to office manager for any doctor, patient and employee concerns and/or inquiries. Must have a joyful and pleasant nature. Proficiency with computers and office equipment. Ability to multitask in a professional manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills- Work as part of a team with an emphasis on communication Detail oriented and independent worker Full-time position with benefits and bonus incentives. Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8-5. Dental knowledge is preferred. Teamwork is a must. Job Type: Full-time
