Description

Olympic Orthodontic Laboratory, Inc. is locally owned and operated, and has been in business since 1983. We are a full-service orthodontic laboratory that provides an extensive selection of orthodontic appliances and digital services. We are presently looking for a production manager that would oversee 25+ employees and that would be responsible for all workflow through the lab. RESPONSIBILITIES Tracks and reviews case progression through the lab (from check-in to completion) to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor cases at key stages during fabrication to ensure specifications and quality are met. Maintains documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Daily appliance design within our computer program. Ensure that proper maintenance and safety procedures, as well as good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are followed. Oversees employee performance and distributes cases to technicians based on their knowledge, skill, and availability. Motivates and creates an environment of teamwork. Communicates directly with doctors and staff: provides technical support, handles complaints, etc. Ability to provide assistance in the production process when needed. Oversees employee training. Maintains confidentiality of data received. Performs other tasks as required. SKILLS + EXPERIENCE Working knowledge of orthodontic appliance production. Knowledge of dental terminology, tooth anatomy and function. At minimum, 5 years of orthodontic/dental experience. Excellent organizational skills. Time management Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task Requires flexibility and adaptability to meet laboratory demands. Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and web-based computer applications/software) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under limited supervision.
