WHO WE ARE: As a dental lab, we work closely with dentists who, like us, want the very best for their patients. Since 1979 we’ve created high quality, custom dental restorations using the very latest materials, techniques and technology, including CAD/CAM and 3DPrinting. Our passion for finding a custom approach for each patient and each situation means we are never satisfied until both the patient and dentist are completely happy. You intuitively know how things fit together and you can see precisely what needs to be done to make something perfect. You understand the nuance of objects, like space, color, and composition. You possess a relentless attention to detail, and you are passionate about doing it right the first time. When things break down, you don’t get flustered. Instead, you jump in to find the solution. WHAT YOU’LL DO: As a valuable member of the custom dental restoration process, your daily responsibilities will include these activities: CAM OPERATIONS • Receive files from our designers • Utilizing specialized software, you will arrange the designs within a zirconia puck and send them to the mill. • When Milling is complete, you will remove the restorations for the puck and prepare them for sintering. This entails grinding off supports leftover from milling, removing all dust and in many cases applying special coloring. Then placing in the sintering oven for an overnight cycle. • You will be responsible for making sure the furnace is started in the evening and that the crowns are placed back in the proper case pans in the morning. MODEL DEPARTMENT Analog: • You will be in charge of receiving, unpacking and disinfection all analog cases. • You will pour up impressions and construct stone models. • You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the model room as well as overseeing inventory of the materials you use. Digital • Each morning there will be printed models in the curing unit. You will remove those models, trim any flashing and mount the upper and lower models from the bite registration. • You will place all models and crowns in the proper case pan making sure they are ready for the next technician. Our industry is constantly evolving. As new technologies are developed (i.e., digital dentures, etc.), you will be expected to keep up by participating in training and attending conferences to learn new techniques.
