OFFICE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES The Office Manager’s primary role is to be an advocate for the practice, accountable for the results of the efficiency and profitability of the practice. The OM is responsible for taking ownership of the practice, managing all production and collections, making decisions strategically aligned to practice mission, providing workflow direction, and leading a successful team that consistently meets and exceeds patient and practice expectations. Additional responsibilities include human resources, payroll, front office administrations, maintaining compliance regulations, analyzing insurance, scheduling, treatment planning and presentations, managing both patient and team relations, overseeing smooth daily operations, and managing accounts receivable. KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES Office Production Office Collection No-Show and Cancellation New Patient Conversion Patient Retention QUALIFICATIONS Education and Background Requirements: Knowledgeable of dental insurance plans and dental terminology Advanced treatment plan presentation and acceptance skills Track record for providing excellent customer service Excellent leadership skills and must have a driven, positive, action taker attitude Ability to successfully and efficiently work in fast-paced, high-volume environments while maintaining a high level of organization and composure Position Requirements: 3-5 years of experience working in a dental office 1-3 years of experience successfully leading and managing a team of people Proficiency with Open Dental (required) Compensation commensurate with experience Benefits include 2 medical plans to choose from; free dental benefits for the employee, their spouse, and dependent children; ancillary health plans: vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, life insurance, and accident coverage; paid holidays; and paid-time-off.
