Description

We are looking for Dental Office Manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. Must have previous experience as a Dental Office Manager. Ultimately, the Dental Office Manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation. We have a very high energy office with 4 Periodontists, 21 staff members and two locations (Our second office is in Mentor, OH (15 minutes away)). Our office feels like a big family and NOT like a corporate office yet we are professional and represent the highest levels of customer care and service in Cleveland. We see ourselves as the best periodontal office in Cleveland. Responsibilities: Oversee hiring and training of new personnel Maintain Personnel files (employment forms, I9 government forms, vacations, for dental assistant and hygienist all qualifying information for example licenses, certificates, medical shots etc.) Employee evaluations and reviews Employee payroll (check hours and be responsible for biweekly report) Update and maintain internal office protocols and procedures to ensure office efficiency and patient customer service Handle patient complaints or needs Handle disciplinary actions when needed Step in when needed upfront if staff needs assistance handling patients, treatment plans or phones Maintain work calendar for staff (making sure enough staff is available weekdays and Saturdays) Responsible for accounts receivable (patient billing, patient collections, etc.) Responsible for patient financial arrangements and discussing patient billing questions or disputes Responsible for monthly reports Responsible for medical insurance for staff (getting best quote and and best medical insurance for staff) Help with pension Patient customer service is of the utmost importance and must be attained at all times Help wherever needed Must have prior dental office managerial experience Must be efficient and organized Must be able to deal with high patient volume Must be able to handle large staff Must be a team player We are looking for a high energy manager
