** LEGACY DENTAL IN TERRELL, TX IS HIRING ** DENTAL OFFICE MANAGER - BI-LINGUAL $1500 SIGN ON BONUS JOB SUMMARY The Office Manager is directly responsible for the management of the day-to-day business operations through directing and developing a high performing office team and cultivating positive relationships with our doctors. The Office Manager champions behaviors to drive superior levels of patient service and employee satisfaction while striving continuously to improve results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Takes responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the office • Proven ability in providing a positive patient experience • Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with any Doctor and the office staff • Maintains facilities equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA • Insures all employees follow mandatory training and policy set in the Employee Handbook • Responsible for managing payroll for the office, to include: Proper time keeping of employees, approving time off requests, monitoring and performing time adjustments and approving payroll • Responds to employee relation issues, and works with Human Resources • Ability to apply constructive criticism, and offer new ideas to increase office efficiency • Proficiency in insurance submission and follow-up, for prompt insurance payments to office • Ability to present treatment plans to patients, discuss financial options with patients • Run and Analyze Reports • Support marketing and promotional initiatives • Maintains patient data according to regulations and company policies • Ensures records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy and security regulations • Conducts outreach activity on education and selling treatment • Responsible for employee’s performance and reviews • Maintains a complete and accurate operations manual • Responsible for patient and employee experience • Responsible for promotions to increase productivity • Other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS Education: • High School graduate or GED • Associates Degree, bachelor’s preferred Requirements: • Must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish) • BLS/CPR Certified • 2 years of dental management experience preferred • Knowledge of Dental office clinical operations and terminology • Experience using dental office software as well as Microsoft Office and e-mail • Ability to train, lead and manage a team • Maintains a high level of integrity • Maintains a high level of confidentiality • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills • Knowledge and insurance plans and claims processing • Knowledge of accounting principles • Detail Oriented
