Hygiene Coordinator Entry level position. Applicant needs to be customer service oriented, some dental knowledge is helpful. You will be the first person a new patient interacts with via phone and in person, so friendly and upbeat social skills are a must! You are in charge of patient information and keeping them updated on the appointment. This position requires heavy outgoing phone skills also. Phone calls must be recorded on a daily basis to keep the hygiene calendar busy. Will train in house on dental software. Some computer knowledge is helpful. We do cross train our employees and promote from within. This is a position where you can grow and learn the skills you need to succeed in a private dental practice. Bi-Lingual is a PLUS!! Duties Greet and check in patients in a friendly manner Confirming and updating patient information and health history Promptly answer phones and schedule patient according to scheduling guidelines Confirm appointments Maintain a full schedule of hygiene patients daily Assist with other office duties as requested or needed Scan, fax and sort documents Ability to multitask with strong organization and communication skills Hours M-Th 8-5 and Fridays 8-2
