Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday-Thursday 9a-5p, Fridays 8a-12p) This established dental practice in South San Antonio offers general dentistry and specialty dental services. The OM will focus on executing numerous operational tasks in their dental practice with the goal of enhancing practice level efficiencies and growth in conjunction with the support team and the primary dentist of the practice. The OM works closely with the Operations Director to drive a positive team culture and achieve positive practice results. Values and Competencies Integrity • Accountability • Customer-centric • Effective leadership skills • Experience in PandL Management • Demonstrates flexibility as appropriate • Results-driven • Ability to successfully multitask under pressure • Strong organizational skills • Strong attention to detail • Proficient in Time Management • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) Responsibilities Team leadership, coaching and training • Profit and Loss (PandL) management • Staff and patient scheduling • Time and Attendance (TandA) management • Payroll process management • Accounts Payable (AP) management • Manage insurance claims and other forms of payment • Patient satisfaction and experience • Collaborate on internal and external marketing efforts • Implement policies and procedures • Promote company policies and best practices (published or otherwise communicated) • Management of dental licenses and other related certifications • Maintain current safety procedures and personal protective equipment required to minimize health risks • Other job duties as assigned Qualifications 2 years of dental office management or equivalent experience • Proficient in dental performance management software (Eaglesoft preferred) • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, platforms, tools and metrics • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Word) • Solid understanding of PandL management (budgeting) • Comprehensive understanding ability to enforce current labor laws • Adhere to current regulatory agency guidelines (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, etc.) Work Environment/Conditions Ability to maintain a full-time employment schedule approximately 40 hours per week; extended hours may be requested or required • Ability to travel up to 10% • Prolonged sitting and standing as needed • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. • Exposure to potentially hazardous objects and/or materials • Ability to wear appropriate work attire as needed or required
