Growing COMPREHENSIVE AND ETHICAL Family Dental Practice in Elmhurst seeking experienced Dental Assistant. We offer cutting edge dentistry, and our office is paperless! We are very fortunate to have a team already where everyone genuinely likes each other, and will go out of their way to help their fellow teammates, our patients, and our doctors. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SHINING STAR - after all, our Dental Assistants work hand in hand with the doctors and hygienists to provide an incredible experience for our patients. Your smile and positive attitude need to radiate through your entire being to help patients, the team and the doctors in providing top notch dental care. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical dental assisting, including: 4 handed dentistry, taking diagnostic radiographs, digital and traditional impressions, scheduling of patients, maintenance for the digital records of patients, sterilization of instruments and the dental operatories, maintaining appearance and order of dental office, taking photos and educating patients on treatment plan options thru Spear videos, as well as supporting the office manager, doctors, and team help our patients. Our patient hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm. Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm. One Saturday a month 8:00am - 1:00pm. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: - High school diploma - Dental assistant experience a huge plus but willing to train the right candidate. - Customer service and patient relations experience. Be able to put patients at ease. - A team player and able to adapt to office policy improvements(office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service). - Accuracy, honesty, integrity, detail oriented, multitasker, and an ability to always see room for improvement within ones own performance. - MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS WELL and document well.
