The Patient Acquisition and Retention (PAR) Rep will be responsible for confirming and scheduling patients, recall, verifying insurances, utilizing company policies to solve customer issues and directing calls to the managerial team when necessary. Our Patient Acquisition and Retention Rep (PAR) are often the first points of contact for customer service issues; therefore, a commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to make quick and accurate decisions are required. This position requires working Saturdays PAR Rep Requirements: 1 or more years of dental office experience Bilingual is a plus, but not required. Must be able to communicate face to face, through email, and phone Must have a patient first philosophy. 2-3 Saturdays a month. Makes outbound scheduling calls in a polite and professional manner Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into Patient File (address, telephone number, name of insurance or self-pay status) Schedule appointments correctly - review appointment date, time, location, and provider name with the caller. Inform the caller of items to bring to an appointment (including insurance card, medications, office visit fees Reminds the caller to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before scheduled appointment to complete paperwork. Reminds the caller of the cancellation/no-show policy, sends link at time of scheduling patient appointment Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service Manages the re-care/MCO roster, calls unscheduled treatment list to schedule appointments Verifies patients MCO insurance and assists them with PCP updates Reviews the protocol for sedations when confirming appointments for sedation patients Job Types: Full-time What we are doing to stay safe during Covid-19: To keep our employees and patients safe we have implemented screening of employees and patients. We have proper PPE in place (masks, face shields, gowns, and gloves). We have added extra oral suction, UV air purifiers, and isolation barriers at the front.
