This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to join a thriving new practice with two excellent doctors. APPLICANTS MUST ALREADY HAVE A DENTAL LICENSE, but FULL training will be provided for anyone with dental assistant experience. Pediatrics is a big plus! Luna Pediatrics and Elara Orthodontics is growing and successful. Specializing in pediatric, orthodontic and general dentistry to patients of all ages. The focus is on excellence and patient care. Experience working with children is a plus! If you are an RDA, we would welcome your application to join our team. We do require that you possess a valid RDA license and preferably a Nitrous Oxide Monitoring License. We will ask you to: Maintain a professional, clean and neat appearance at all times. Warmly greet our patients of all ages with a sincere respect and a genuine concern for their well-being. Assist the doctor in a variety of recognized Dental Assistant duties to include: Ensure the comfort of our patients before, during and after any procedure. Take x-rays, impressions, scans and photographs. Record and enter chart notes into the software program. Able to accurately take and record our patients’ medical history, blood pressure, and pulse. Assist the pediatric dentist in a variety of pediatric treatment procedures. Support the continued health of the patient with clear instructions on after-care and consistent oral hygiene after any treatment. Our Team Members must be reasonably flexible in scheduling to suit the needs of our patients. This may include working Saturdays. Flexibility also includes being a team player and providing support to the administrative staff with phone calls on an as-needed basis. Some Saturdays may be required. Job Types: Full-time (Some Saturdays may be requested) Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience and knowledge of pediatric dentistry, ortho and dental.
