We are an oral surgery practice with two office locations looking for an exceptional person to join our team as a Receptionist and Front Office Assistant. Key Responsibilities: • Answer multi line office phone system in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner. • Scheduling patient care appointments, check in/out patients and converting appointments in computer system. • Greeting in-office patients and assist with check in/out process. • Ensure all appropriate patient paperwork is complete, accurate and signed. • Help with insurance verification and other front office duties as needed. • Miscellaneous administrative and front office duties to ensure smooth operation of the practice. • Ensure premises are kept clean and tidy. • Manage all incoming referrals and reach out to patients in a timely manner to get them scheduled. Best candidates would meet the following requirements: • At least 1 year of dental experience. • Friendly, courteous personality with the natural ability to make connections with people. • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in person and on the phone. • Ability to implement office protocols and verbal skills in patient communications. • Ability to excel in a team environment while achieving personal work goals. • Self-motivated and have the ability to identify problems and come up with solutions. • Knowledge of dental terminology, basic oral surgery terminology and basic insurance understanding is a plus. • High school diploma or equivalent, customer service or dental front office experience. • Able to work at both Plano and Carrollton office locations according to rotational schedule. • Experience with Open Dental practice management software is a huge plus but not required.
