We are currently looking for a positive, committed, career oriented and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to add to our team. About us: Gentle Dentistry, P. This has allowed our dentists and team to offer virtually pain-free care for some of the most common and complex dental concerns. Gentle Dentistry, is a full-scope multi-specialty practice in Haworth, NJ, offering comprehensive, cosmetic and implant dentistry. As our practice name suggests, we specialize in dental care with a gentle and minimally invasive touch. Primary Job Duties: Assist the doctor(s) during a variety of treatment procedures including advanced surgical full-mouth rehabilitation and comprehensive cosmetic cases Ability to take all forms of radiographs (CBCT experience a plus),as well as, develop and mount digital radiographs Provide post-operative/surgical instructions as required Excels in customer service skills and handling our patients with the upmost care as we are comprehensive and patient experience focused Attention to detail is a must with recording accurate clinical notes and clear communication of future appointment sequences Manage highest standard of infection control, follow strict COVID and OSHA guidelines, prepare/sterilize instruments including cleaning and organizing operatories as well as maintain dental equipment by the appropriate manufacture recommended methods Ability to confidently handle minor front desk tasks such as answering phones and scheduling Skills and Qualifications: Current New Jersey RDA and Radiology license 2-3 years of dental experience preferred CEREC, Solea, Hybridge, Invisalign and EagleSoft knowledge is a plus Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health and safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset Exceptional attention to detail, task oriented and reliable Sense of urgency, critical thinking and flexibility are a must Highly motivated individual with strength in teamwork Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $26.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: As a premier dental practice we hold ourselves to a higher standard.
