We’re growing fast and look forward to welcoming a wonderful hygienist like you to our team. We are open Wednesday through Saturday. Yes, we will be open Saturdays, but will only work 4 days a week, doesnt that sound great! We will work Saturdays to provide quality care to families who can’t afford to take time off during the work week. You’ll enjoy working side by side with a caring dentist who will always have your back. Our dental assistants will work with you, taking x-rays as needed, flossing and polishing if you so choose, all to give you a smooth and easy work day. Pay Rate = $42 per hour plus bonuses Role and Responsibilities: • Must have excellent people skills and a proactive approach. Multi-tasking is essential. • Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination • Sterilize dental instruments properly • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history • Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis • Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) • Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) • Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures • Take X-rays, dental impressions, or 3D scan using iTero • Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) • Maintain documentation and charts on each patient • Monitor supplies Benefits: All benefits are available after completing the 90 day probation period. • Simple IRA pension plan • Paid time off after a year of continuous employment • In house dental care up to 5k • Employee discounts • Professional development assistance • Possible overtime available • Yearly salary review and quarterly bonus based on performance Working schedule: Wednesday - Friday: 9am – 6pm Saturday: 9am – 3pm
