Our private, state of the art dental office just opened a new position for a registered dental hygienist to join our amazing culture. Our office is conveniently located in the White Rock area in Dallas, Texas. We are a very close-knit group where all of our staff including the dentist treat one another like family then employees. What separates us from other offices is going to be our personal touch and financial programs to our patient to really ensure they get the necessary dental treatments that they need and to reinvent their experience with dentistry and not make it a chore or uncomfortable. Our dental hygienist will have direct involvement in deciding the treatments for teeth or gum diseases with our dentist. Qualification and Skills: We are looking for an individual that will learn our system and culture that will eventually be able to grow with us and own their position. We will be requesting a valid license to practice. *Demonstrate a proactive nature and strong sense of ownership and desire to grow and help others. *Necessary industry certification and education *Comfortable and Confident on the phone and patient outreach *Familiarity of Dentrix is a plus, but not a necessity *At least one year of experience is preferred * Sterilize dental instruments properly * Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history * Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis * Clean and educate patients’ teeth and improvement of oral care * Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) * Maintain documentation and charts on each patient *Uniform Stipend for new hires We work 1 Saturday a month, and have flexible hours catered to our patients. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time COVID-19 considerations: All patients are provided and required to wear mask before entering the office.
