Description

Our office is a well established and highly rated fee for service Orthodontic practice seeking an additional team player who is friendly, has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, has knowledge of dental terminology, and is focused on excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate is proficient with computers and able to multi-task while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor. A background or degree in communications or marketing is desirable for this position Job Title: • Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator/ Office Coordinator - position is available immediately • Full-time position (7:30am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday) • Compensation based on qualifications and experience Duties and Responsibilities: • Welcome patients to our office in a warm and pleasant manner while maintaining multiple phone lines and checking patients in and out • Manage doctor time to ensure schedule stays on time and running in a timely manner • Schedule appointments as well as confirm exam and consultation appointments • Follow up with recall patients • Manage financial accounts • Set up financial contracts and ensure that patients have been notified of their status and financial responsibilities • Perform miscellaneous tasks and duties assigned to front office staff • Participate as a contributing member of the office staff team to achieve patient satisfaction and office production goals • Communication with dental and specialist referral offices • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • A broad-based understanding of the orthodontic treatment process is required • High School Diploma or equivalent • Customer service or patient care experience • Ability to collaborate with others • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively • Experience taking orthodontic diagnostic records is a plus • Digital practice management software experience (Dolphin Management and Imaging) experience preferred Next Step PLEASE EMAIL A COVER LETTER AND A CURRENT RESUME WITH AT LEAST TWO NON-FAMILY REFERENCES TO IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
