Revive Family Dentistry is hiring!! Our progressive, luxurious, and state-of-the-art dental office in Grand Prairie, TX is looking for an experienced and exceptional Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would possess the following traits and skills: - Has at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a dental office - Familiar with Open Dental Software or similar practice management software - Understands dental terminology - Positive attitude and strong communication skills - Has 2 years of experience taking digital radiographs - Has experience making provisional restorations in anterior and posterior areas - Has experience packing retraction cord and taking alginate impressions - Has experience working with adults and children - Certified in placing sealants and coronal polishing - High School Diploma or GED - Certification from an acredited Dental Assisting School - Bilingual in Spanish is a plus - Certification in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring is a plus Job description for this position is as follows: - Assist dentist chairside with dental procedures - Take dental radiographs - Independently take alginate impressions, pack retraction cord, and make provisional restorations - Independently place sealants - Prepare dental lab scripts for dentist in a timely manner - Assist in keeping inventory and ordering of office supplies - When needed, answer office phone calls and schedule appointments - Schedule patient recare and follow up appointments - Support marketing initiatives that help drive new patient growth Core Competenecies: - Great customer service skills - Great communication skills - Great work ethic - Detail-oriented - Dependable - Reliable - Compassionate - Team player - Works well independently What will we offer you?
