Sunrise Dentistry is a privately owned, single-doctor dental practice looking for a friendly front office team member to join our close-knit group. Most of the team members have been with us for a number of years. We are looking for someone who is interested in progressing in their career and who is committed to being a team player. We are hiring for full-time work starting at $21/hr (pay negotiable depending on experience). We are open Tuesday-Friday from 8AM-5PM. At Sunrise Dentistry we strive to always put patient care, comfort, and choice first. We also value a good work/life balance for all team members. We offer one-hour lunches, paid CE, paid vacation and some paid holidays, and dental care. In addition, we value helping our community. Dr. Jankowski is regularly involved in coaching youth sports, mentoring students, and serving in his church. We also are planning a service day where we can give back to those in need with state-of-the-art dental care. We enjoy helping patients feel welcome in the office. We value their comfort, time, choices, and finances. Because of this, we use excellent materials, advanced diagnostic tools, and sound research to guide our treatment. It is not the doctor or the teams job to decide what treatment is best for the patient. Our job is to educate. • Insurance companies also do not get to dictate what is best for our patients. We can recommend our ideal treatment for them, but we always give alternatives and explanations. We encourage patients to think about the treatment and to call us with questions. Job Duties: • Maintain the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and teamwork • Using adjunctive aids, help educate patients in the value of the choices we offer – always present optimal treatment while attending to patient’s individual concerns by offering choice • Always promote the good qualities of the other team members and the doctor to the patients in and outside of the practice • Help patients feel welcome and comfortable, while ensuring each patient receives adequate time and attention • Offer choices/options to patients. Present treatment plans and help patients figure out a way to pay for the treatment they want to receive • Collect all estimated patient fees on date of service and post payments, process insurance claims - verify accuracy of claims and payments when received • Help coordinate/schedule community service days, office parties, office trainings, birthday lunches, etc • Answer phones and schedule patients • Call patients who have had significant treatment to ensure they are feeling ok and to see if there is anything we can do to help them • Check patients in, schedule patients, check patients out • Help pay office bills • Ensure patients have all medical history and consents signed before they are marked ready for back office • Run regular Accounts Receivable reports and follow-up on unpaid claims from insurance companies and from patients • Assist other team members (front and back office) as needed to help the office run smoothly and stay on time • Other duties typical of a receptionist, front office admin, treatment coordinator, and/or financial coordinator Qualifications • 2 years experience in at least one dental office front administrative role (insurance coordinator, treatment coordinator, scheduling coordinator, financial coordinator, etc) • High School Diploma • Fluent in spoken and written English
