Opportunity: This is a specialty office in endodontics and we are looking for and endodontic dental assistant who can bring reliability, flexibility, fun and professionalism to our team. The endodontic dental assistant should be detail-oriented. As an assistant, your responsibilities will include: - Taking CBCT scans and x-rays - Assisting during treatment - Sterilizing/organizing/helping with inventory - Answering phones, checking patients in and out, and helping at the front desk (cross-training) Experience in these areas is not a requirement. You should feel comfortable delivering a high level of customer service and building relationships with the patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional communication skills, great customer service skills, and great attention to detail. We also want that person to be a reliable and consistent performer. In addition to providing excellent care to our patients, they will be able to professionally handle the following: - Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; make the patient the #1 priority; excellent chair side manner - Assist the doctor with all dental procedures including but not limited to take directions from doctor - Anticipate doctors needs - Lead by example; exercise good team work; have mutual respect for team; partner with team to create an exceptional experience for patient - Update patient record, CBCT and x-ray - Utilize TDO (endo practice management software) to update patient charts and records - Assist with lab and sterilization as needed - Assist with front office duties as needed Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor - Excellent customer service skills - Professionalism in all aspects of job - Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to multi-task Pay and Benefits: Pay negotiable depending on experience Health and Dental Insurance (Full-time only) Paid time-off (Full-time only) 401k (Full-time only) Schedule: Monday to Friday, alternating shifts with other assistant(s) Experience: 2 or more years as a Dental Assistant- Endodontics a plus X-Ray, CBCT experience Education: High school or equivalent This job is an ideal match for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, people-oriented, adaptable, flexible, can bring a level of professionalism, and positivity to the team.
