Description

About Us – Stubbs Dental is a unique dental group. While we do practice general dentistry, our main focus is on highly skilled procedures such as the All-on-4® dental implant procedure. Because of that, our assistants are an essential component of our practice! Our Bountiful office has just been newly remodeled and is growing! We have been in business since 2014. Our vision statement is “Creating confident and healthy lives for our families and communities through compassionate top-tier care.” Our teams work cohesively with the support of central management to build an environment where we can take care of our patients and, in turn, our employees. Values – At Stubbs Dental, we take culture very seriously. Everyone in our company strives to maintain a set of core values, namely: Compassion Team Integrity Grateful Mindset A Day in the Life – When you work for Stubbs Dental you can expect a fast-paced office We begin huddle at 8:40 M-Th (7:30 on “Fun Fridays”). At the daily huddle, the entire team will discuss KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and strategize how to resolve any obstacles we may face during the day. Under the direction of a skilled Lead Assistant, you will assist our dentists and surgeons with efficiency. You will be in charge of your own column and work with one doctor. You will learn all procedures via our training website, our back office guide, and special one-on-one instruction from the Lead Assistant. Some days you will be asked to assist in the All on 4 surgeries (full arch implants). As you near the end of the work day, you will make sure all treatment planning is completed and that we are ready for the day tomorrow. We plan to wrap up the day by 5:30 on Monday-Thursday and on Friday we like to be done by 3:00. Of course this is the dental world and sometimes that varies just a bit! Benefits Group health insurance, $5,000 dental insurance for you and immediate family. $20,000 life insurance. 10 days of PTO 8 paid holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, and YOUR BIRTHDAY! Bonus System This role is for you if… You have a can-do attitude. You are a team player. You are hungry to make yourself better and push yourself to learn new things. You are humble enough to admit mistakes and hold yourself accountable. You find joy in others’ successes. You are people smart. You are able to read and understand those you work with, as well as those entrusted to your care. You want to be compensated for your skill set and feel appreciated for the vital part that dental assistants play in our system. Most importantly this job is for you if you love to see people’s lives changed by the procedures you help perform. This role is not for you if… You are addicted to complaining! You are only interested in clocking in and clocking out. You are consumed with self-interest, or you lack the drive to help your co-workers succeed. You expect to have things handed to you without putting in the effort. What Winning Looks Like We support you in winning by performance reviews, check-ins, training in back office work flow through the lead assistant, and other training guides. You are able to increase your skill set based on our predetermined tiers of dental assistants. Our office meets their break even point and we receive a BONUS on top of our hourly rate. We get to spend time together in team building events, fun Fridays, company outings such as family picnics, Top Golf, paint nights, etc. We get to participate in humanitarian trips to use our skill sets to benefit others’ lives. Deal breakers Inability to show a good fit with our company vision and core values. Inability to have your skillset line up with the highly skilled procedures that we do. SUMMARY We are looking for a highly skilled dental assistant who has experience in surgery, implants, and all other aspects of dentistry: someone who is looking for a position where they will be appreciated for the value that they bring to the team. If this sounds like you, please send a copy of your resume and a short explanation of why you want to join our team. We look forward to hearing from you!
