Description

Royal Oaks Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for an Experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! We not only deliver the best clinical care for our patients, but we also provide a high energy, team-oriented work place. It is important for patients to know we care and will support them in getting to a place of excellent oral health. ?Responsibilities Provide assistance to the Dentist with all dental procedures Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain Doctors schedule and patient flow, create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient: be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times Review patient chart prior to Doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during Exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in chart Verify patient health history (basic health review medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in practice chart Take digital X-Rays Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and safety requirements Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully Perform proper operation and maintenance of dental equipment Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis Support the front desk with greeting patients, check in and out patients in a friendly manner as well presenting treatment plans Assist with other duties as requested or needed Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships ?Qualifications MUST have at least 1 year of experience in general dentistry EFDA Certification (optional) RDA License with CPA certified required Knowledge of Dentrix preferred As a full time employee, you will be offered medical, dental and vision benefits as well as matched 401(k) and practice bonuses.
