Our State-of-the-Art Endodontic Practice is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for providing an exceptional patient experience while assisting the dental specialists while maintaining infection control practices. The right candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with a dedicated team in a two doctor fast-paced practice, committed to provide excellent care to our patients. This role demands flexibility and adaptability, superior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. As needed, well call upon this role to perform other duties to help advance our business goals. Requirements -1 year of dental assistant experience -Ability to contribute productively to team settings as well as being a strong individual contributor -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Highly organized with strong attention to detail -Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems -Positive attitude and ability to shift directions based on business needs -Basic computer knowledge -Flexibility to remain after hours for emergency patients -Knowledge of digital radiography -Assist doctors through four handed dentistry Responsibilities -Record patient charting and all of the dentists notes in the digital patient chart -Take X-rays and CBCT scans -Four handed chairside assisting -Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories and equipment -Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care -Conduct follow-up calls to patients -Collaborates with front and back office to ensure dentists schedule runs smoothly and efficiently -Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures in accordance with state guidelines -Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA -Assists with daily office cleaning responsibilities Job Type Full-time Schedule Monday to Thursday and some Fridays Experience Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Digital X-Ray Experience (Preferred) Work Location One location Benefits Paid Time Off, Vacation Time, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Short-Term disability Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k), On-the-job training, Uniform allowance, Indoor parking and more.
