University Periodontal Associates has an opening for a Oral Surgery / Periodontal Dental Assistant in Houston, TX. We provide a working environment like no other dental office you have ever seen! Responsibilities Assist the Doctor(s) during oral surgery Prepare rooms Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment Medical history and Vitals Preparation of topical anesthetics for treatment will be performed Clean the treatment rooms Take x-rays Sterilize instruments Qualifications Knowledge of all dental assistant duties All required certifications for dental assisting Knowledge of all company policies and rules Skilled verbal communication Skilled in friendly and polite customer service Experience in OralSurgery highley preferred Full time M-F Oral surgery or Perio experience highly preferred Dentrix Experience preferred 2 Years experience required
