Job description: Seeking an experienced full-time dental hygienist. The perfect candidate for the position is an upbeat, organized, sharp-minded, detail-oriented team player who likes a busy office where patient relationships and good customer service are valued. Must enjoy multitasking and a fast-paced, mentally stimulating day! Responsibilities: Provide excellent patient care and service Stay on schedule and manage patient flow to create minimal patient wait time Educate patients on oral hygiene, procedures, and services Comply with state and federal laws for chart documentation with accurate and legible notes Assist team members as needed. Verify patient health history and clean and sterilize equipment Clinical Skills: Thoroughly and efficiently perform patient screening (including but not limited to: assessment of oral health conditions, review of patient history, oral cancer screening, dental charting, and taking blood pressure) Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance Efficiently and effectively take dental radiographs and intraoral photos Non-surgical periodontal therapy Take impressions and fabricate whitening trays Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Hygiene Certification from an accredited dental hygiene school; pass required state exams as applicable Nitrous Oxide certification (preferred) Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training as required by law Digital practice software experience (Eaglesoft preferred) Bi-lingual (preferred) Required Traits: Positive attitude and demeanor Good grooming and professional image Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level Medical and dental (in-house) benefits Holiday and vacation pay (401)k Job Type: Full or Part Time
