Your day will include: • Talking with new patients and listening to their interests and needs • Learning the patient’s priorities, doctor’s recommendations, discussing treatment, educating, informing, and scheduling the next appointment • Tying together the patient’s wants and desires with the doctor’s recommended treatment path to educate the patient and remove all barriers to starting treatment • Extensive documentation and updating records • Running periodic reports for our practice manager • Posting payments when patients pay at the time of their consultation with you • Bridging referrals with our dental specialists • Working closely with our Practice Manager and team to give 5-star service to our patients and support co-workers What are the 10 key qualifications to apply? 1. Minimum 3 years of dental experience. A minimum of two years experience will be considered if the candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree in communications, English, psychology or related area of study. 2. Desire to work a “permanent” 4 day per week position; No weekends! No evenings! (After training, every other Monday is off.) 3. Welcoming presentation that models our values towards the importance of oral health wellness and the power of an attractive smile. 4. Masterful verbal communication skills. Ability to connect, listen, and communicate effectively and efficiently with warmth and empathy. 5. Leadership skills to help overcome concerns and focus on the priority of outcome. 6. History of job stability and excellent references. 7. Computer skills: fast and accurate keyboarding for efficient record documentation. 8. Computer aptitude: a mind geared towards technology and eager attitude to fully optimize software. 9. Excellent written communication skills for accurate email and text communications. 10. Presentation that is compliant with our dress code designed for the comfort of our more conservative patients: uniforms provided, tattoos covered when possible and facial jewelry removed before the workday; earrings are fine. Comprehensive Wage and Benefit Package: Impacted by training requirements and skills, this position will pay between $34 - $45/hour.
