Strum Dental is seeking a Dental Hygienist three (3) days a week to add to our dental family. The goal is to have this role grow to a full-time position. I am looking for someone passionate about what they do and who wants to work together with the team to treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules, and have a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. I want everyone to have an outstanding patient experience. $1,000 welcome bonus to be paid upon completion of 90-day period. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): -Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination -Sterilize dental instruments properly -Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history -Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis -Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) -Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) -Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures -Take X-rays or dental impressions -Maintain documentation and records on each patient -Monitor supplies SKILLS – -Proven experience as Dental Hygienist -In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) -Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment -Outstanding communication skills -A patient and friendly personality -Attention to detail -Valid TX hygienist license I look forward to hearing from you!
