As a dental assistant we expect the following .Assist in clinical procedures .Must be comfortable working with children and adults Excellent .Must have great customer services skills and verbal communication skills. .Learn and comply with OSHA laws and safety guidelines.• .Must Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).• .Must Learn and comply with state and Federal infection control standards in the dental office and operatories.• .Must Document/chart all treatment plans ,dental procedures performed during each patient visit.• .Must Effectively provide dental education and information to parent and or patient.• . Must Effectively present to patient or parent in professional and confidential manner all treatment plans.• .Must Understand and explain insurance benefits and financial options to patients.• .Must Ensure operatories are appropriately equipped and stocked with inventory and re-order when necessary.•. .Must Maintain clean and sterilized operatories and equipment.• . Must Maintain professional working environment.• .Must Adhere to uniform attire .• . Must Understand and abide by HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality. .• . Must Possess Ability to work in high volume environment• .Must Perform All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or a Registered or Certified Dental Assistant preferred. Dentrix experience is a MUST and Dexis experience preferred.
