Description

Immediate position available for out-going, positive attitude , customer care oriented dental assistant. - Minimum experience of 2 years required. - Familiar with Open Dental and iTero Scan preferred, not required. - Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after their appointment. Connect with our patients, ask for medical history, take vitals including blood pressure and pulse. - Take initiative with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Record dental treatment information in patient records. - Taking dental radiographs. Performing general dentistry assisting the Dentist including diagnostic and preventative, restorative, endodontic, periodontic, oral surgery, and major services. Able to take impressions of patients teeth. - Communicate with our patients via phone, email, and text. (comfortable with confirming, scheduling, and speaking with patients in regards to treatment). Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene instructions. - Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory. Certification for dental assisting and x-rays required. Nitrous and conscious sedation experience preferred, not required. Application of pits and fissures and nitrous certification a plus upon review.
