Description

We are currently looking for a qualified Front Desk Associate to join our team! You must have experience working in a professional environment, communicating with clients or patients. This position provides oversight and leadership for retaining and scheduling new patients and is otherwise a focal point of patient communication and scheduling. The right candidate must have the following: An excellent and confident communicator Attention to detail Great team player Proactive and self-motivated Resilience and persistence Knowledge of dentistry, knowing how to handle a treatment plan and scheduling patients for future treatment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet all patients and visitors in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner and always with a smile! Manage inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly with a positive attitude Schedule and confirm patient appointments Coordinating patient check in and check out Collect balances and verify insurance when needed Upload x rays Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility, assist with insurance and review finance options with patients Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff Maintain a neat, clean office and reception area Provide administrative assistance to support the office as needed Perform other duties as assigned Prepare patients schedule and morning huddles QUALIFICATIONS: College degree preferred; minimum of high school diploma Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor Highly professional and dependable Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent telephone skills Intermediate to advance computer use and data entry skills Excellent writing skills Dentrix Knowledge Please email your resume to [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info]
