North Houston Periodontics and Dental Implants (website: https://northhoustonperioimplants.com/) Job description: We are looking for a clinical dental assistant who ideally has some experiences in periodontics, oral surgery and dental implant treatment to help with our patient care. The assistant will be expected to assist in dental surgeries. We are looking for someone who is reliable (doesnt take too much time off work), punctual (comes on time), honest (does not steal things from office), and a team player (willing to help other staff). Importantly, we are looking for someone with pleasant/good attitude and work ethics. Depending on the work situation, sometimes the clinical assistant may be asked to help with administrative work as well. We use Dentrix software. Basic computer knowledge and skills are needed. Assistant should be proficient in typing and using Word. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time -We are looking for an assistant who has about 2-5 years of experiences (assistant does not need to have many years of experiences) who is willing to learn and learns quickly Skills: -Excellent communication and people skills to make patients feel cared -Proficient in English (if assistant can speak Spanish that will help) -Nitrous oxide certified -Proficient in taking radiographs -Understand basic dental knowledge in periodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants -Good computer skills -Familiar with Dentrix dental software Salary: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: -paid holidays -paid personal days -401(k) NOTE: the best way to contact us is to send emails to [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info]
