Immediate Opening!!! A beautiful state of the art private Practice in Desoto, TX is looking for a High energy Dental Hygienist 2-3 days a week (8am-4:30pm) The days to pick from will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, gentle, profession and has a Leadership personality who will treat our patients like family. Someone who is looking for a long term employment. Duties will include: new and existing patient treatment, review medical and dental history, appropriate periodontal diagnosis, charting, treatment plan, adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling root planning, educate on proper home care/ dental health and schedule patients recalls. Should be familiar with using digital x-rays we use Dexis, and familiar with Dentrix software. Qualification/Requirement: • State of Texas Registered Dental Hygienist • Minimum 3 yrs experience as a Dental Hygienist • Digital x-ray experience • Paper/ Digital Charting and notes experience • Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation • Dentix experience • Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments • CPR certification • Must be organized, efficient with time and completing tasks • Must be energetic, excellent communicator and Patient focused. • MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE ON LEAD ROLE FOR HYGIENE DEPT.
