Description

A staff postion for a dental assistant is now available in our office. We are a general dental practice located in the central Gwinnett area. We currently have 3 staff members . Our practice is expanding and we are interviewing for experienced dental assistants to fill the current available position. We are also planning to add more staff members in the next 6 - 12 months. The attributes we desire in our team members are positive attitude, hard working, and being a people person. We would like to hire an assistant who has least 3 years of experience but in todays market, we are prepared to train assistants who are less skilled and have less experience if you are prepared to work hard and learn those skills quickly. We want an assistant who is vibrant and enjoys the job of a dental assistant. We have fun and we love what we do. We need someone who is consciencious about fulfilling their responsibilities and doing their very best to meet the needs of the patients and the practice team. The ideal candidate is one who is prompt and has a flexible schedule as well as one who can occaisionally work outside our regular office hours of 8 to 5 (though that is rare). Our practice is patient focus and we work hard to care of patients dental needs and educate them about their dental health and the important role dental care is in their overall health. We realize that our dental assistants play a pivotal role in our patients having a positive experience and the success of our practice. We expect our assistants to be friendly and engaging and yet be mindful of staying productive. While we do work hard, we try to keep the atmosphere light and upbeat. The base starting pay is negotiable and starts at $18.00 and up based on experience and performance. The practice hours currently are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Fridays 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (once a month) We offer free dental care at for staff and their immediate family and we also have a health care package available.
