Insurance Coordinator/Check-In Personnel The Insurance Coordinator/Check-In position plays a very important role in our dental practice. You are the face of the office. The brief description below will give you an idea of just a few of our expectations: Please greet all patients with a smile as they check in for their appointments, then buzz for the provider they will be seeing for the day. There will be a list of needs for each patient that may include an updated medical history, new insurance card, Drivers License/ID, etc. Please check all insurance benefits for each patient, and follow up with anyone that may have new insurance, or an out of pocket expense for their visit. Schedule for next day will need to be checked to ensure there has been no changes on the schedule, in case insurance has not been verified. Assist with answering phones, and confirming appointments. There will be a more detailed description of duties when you come in for your initial Interview.
