*If you can only do one of the two days stated, please feel free to still apply - send us a message and let us know it is only for one of the days!* Office Hours are 7:30am-3pm Our general dentistry practice is currently seeking a part-time dental hygienist for our clinical team. Registered dental hygienists perform an array of clinical functions, including but not limited to, preventive care and NSPT; radiographs; periodontal assessment; oral health education and nutritional counseling; sterilization and disinfection; patient and behavior management; documentation and maintaining patient records. Registered Dental Hygienist Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): • Perform NSPT, full mouth debridement, and periodontal maintenance procedures. • Place locally-administered adjunctive periodontal therapy. • Perform preventive care such as prophylaxis, fluoride, and dental sealants; and diagnostic care including digital intraoral and panoramic radiography. • Assess each patient’s individual caries risk and deliver individualized preventive health education and dietary counseling. • Incorporate new technology and/ or software where applicable. • Educate patients on dental caries and periodontal disease etiology and risk factors. • Accurately document any findings relating to the patient’s intra- and extra-oral examination. • Schedule appointments for recall/maintenance visits. • Adhere to all OSHA, CDC/infection control, and state dental board regulations. Registered Dental Hygienist Qualifications: • Active state RDH license. • Maintain a current license status to practice including certifications as appropriate. • Passion for patient education.
