Description

Pasadena Health Center is a FQHC located in Pasadena, TX with multiple specialties. The dental dept is growing and in search of another dentist to help the Pasadena community and surrounding areas. The dentist examines individuals requesting care, diagnoses their dental/oral conditions, prescribes, and carries out appropriate dental/oral treatment(s). Accurately records patient-dentist transactions as they occur in the patientand#39;s dental record in a timely manner. Educates individuals in the nature of oral health related conditions and in the general promotion of oral health disease prevention. Attends mandatory staff meetings. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferred Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas Current BLS certification DEA registration Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
