Are you looking for a growing practice with a great culture? At Moorehead Family Dentistry our team is our family. We are looking for an energetic, excited, and motivated dental assistant. We are an established, privately owned practice with a history of long term staff. We are hiring this long term full time role for Tuesdays-Fridays (Mondays with an oral surgery focus can be added for a 5 day week). This opportunity is open to those who have just graduated a dental assisting school OR those with previous dental assisting experience! We offer competitive pay (up to $21/hr for this role), weekly bonus incentives and opportunities to serve the community as a team. We are looking to fill this position immediately. Responsibilities: - Prepare exam rooms for patients - Provide instruction for treatment and post-treatment care - Chart, take digital X-rays and photos - Take intra oral scans (training included with on boarding) - Provide technical assistance during dental procedures and examinations - Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and confidentiality of patientand#39;s records - Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment - Keep supplies stocked - Remove temporary crowns and try in/adjust permanent crowns. - Build rapport with patients Qualifications: - Having graduated a dental assisting school or program OR at least 1 year of dental assisting experience. - Current X-Ray (Radiology) certification - Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient expectations - Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strict adherence to policies and regulations relating to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA - Previous experience using computers (Dentrix/Open Dental/Eagle Soft, Dexis, MS Word, scanning documents) - Desire to continually improve by learning new techniques, procedures, and processes. - Team oriented with an outgoing personality
