Registered Dental Assistant Are you someone that enjoys educating patients about the importance of their oral health and how much their oral health affects their “overall” health? Our growing dental office has a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team! Location Brentwood, TN Registered Dental Assistant responsibilities • Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable and understand their treatment during the appointment • The ability to take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays, CBCTs, and intra oral pictures along with 3D scans • Prepare and layout sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures • Track, document and follow-up with outstanding lab cases • Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team • Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use. Must also adhere to HIPAA and PHI policies • Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about their oral health, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures • Be open to being crossed trained to help the Admin Team when needed Registered Dental Assistant Qualifications • Current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the State of Tennessee is REQUIRED. Must have Dental Radiology! Nitrous Oxide Monitoring is desired. Coronal Polishing, Sealant Certification, Restorative Functions are always a plus, but not required. All applicants will be verified through the TN Board of Dentistry License Verification website for the status of their RDA license in TN • Current BLS/CPR certification is REQUIRED • Previous dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant (3 years) is necessary • Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, treatment planning, lab tracking, scheduling, and other computer skills are needed (Eaglesoft is a plus) • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential Registered Dental Assistant Compensation $20-28 per hour depending on experience Benefits andamp; Incentives • PTO • 401k/Pension Plan • Quarterly bonus potential • Dental services for employees and their immediate family (spouse, children) • Team CE participation • Team outing events • Growth potential, internal promotion Days and Hours of Operation • Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays • 7 am until 4:30 pm
