Periodontal andamp; Implant Associates of Middle Tennessee is looking for a friendly, energetic, and motivated dental assistant to join our growing PERIO dental practice in Green Hills - Nashville area. We value excellent communication skills, professional appearance, and a positive attitude. We are a patient-centered office that is passionate about customer service and providing beautiful smiles in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We are looking for a skilled RDA who wants to work in a team oriented environment. Come see our office to find out about our perks! Periodontal or Oral Surgery experience is preferred. Full time hours. Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Ability to take digital radiographs * Taking impressions, pouring models, etc. * Cleans and sterilizes instruments after treatment * Assists chair side * Provide patient education: discharge, teaching, etc. * Be able to verify health history for patient * Order and maintain supply inventory * Maintain clean and orderly operatories, setting up and breaking down. * Maintain professional license through continuing education courses and education. * Be adaptable to perform other duties when asked. * Maintain office compliance logs/inspections for OSHA * Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) * Data entry into Open Dental software. * Answer phones and have the ability to make schedule appointments. * POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Qualifications/ Experience: * Current Tennessee RDA license * Two year experience as chair side assistant preferred * X-ray license, required ability to provide certificate * Current CPR.
