As a Dental Assistant in our practice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office while delivering excellent patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. - Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure the necessary equipment is ready. - Take and process X-rays, dental impressions, and other diagnostic records. - Provide chairside support to the dentist during examinations, cleanings, and dental procedures. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care. - Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation. - Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, billing, and insurance claims. - Ensure infection control protocols and safety measures are consistently followed. - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2and#43; years of experience as a Dental Assistant. - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. - Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and impressions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures. - Current certification as a Dental Assistant in the state of Texas is preferred. **Compensation:** Competitive compensation will be offered based on your experience and qualifications.
