Description

We are looking for a full-time position on our team as an orthodontic assistant for our private practice located in Katy. The candidate should possess a self-motivated positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to make each visit a pleasant environment for our patients. At least 1 year of experience in orthodontics and an RDA are preferred. Our office hours are Tuesday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and two Saturdays a month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Responsibilities include; Provides outstanding customer service with patients as #1 priority; partnering with staff, successfully resolves patient complaints, concerns, and questions in a timely manner. Fully assists orthodontists in the process of treating patients. Takes x-rays. Takes intra and extra oral pictures Provides patients with instructions for oral care following appointments and procedures Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to improve or maintain oral health while having braces. Performs operatory set up and break down Sterilizes instruments Effectively understands and utilizes office dental software Arriving on time to provide an adequate amount of time to set up for the day Setting up patient trays stock rooms
