We are an established private single doctor practice looking for a dental assistant with a professional demeanor, a patient-first attitude, integrity, and the drive to excel. This position will include general dental assisting Mon-Thursday 8am-4pm. If you feel you have these qualities and want to be part of this incredible team, send us your resume. Job Duties include, but not limited to: Sterilization, cleaning instruments, tray set up, and keeping rooms well-stocked Prepping, educating patients before Dr. exam, ensuring their comfort Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Recording medical history for each patient Performing X-rays Charting existing and recommended treatments Entering thorough notes into the computer and mastering the software (Dentrix) Schedule appointments Undertake lab tasks as instructed Performing other duties as required to support the office Working collectively as a team to provide the best quality patient care Necessary Qualifications/Skills: X-ray, N2O and RDA Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Employee discount Food provided Paid time off Uniform allowance
