Orchard Grove Family Dentistry is growing and looking to add a part time hygienist to our team! The position is for at least one day a week to start, with the possibility of up to 4 days a week as we grow. Orchard Grove Family Dentistry is a privately owned dental office that opened in March of 2022 in the growing town of Fort Mill, SC. The owner has a vision to keep private practice dentistry alive and thriving through connecting with patients in a practice designed to be relaxing and judgment free. Patients will be educated and involved with treatment decisions, and financial arrangements will be presented with full transparency. The ideal candidate will provide clinical care and patient education with confidence and a friendly demeanor. Hourly pay based on experience. We use handheld digital imaging, intraoral cameras, andamp; Trios scanner. This is a part-time position, with a schedule of 1-2 days a week. The specific days and hours can be discussed during the interview process. Our office is not open on weekends but will participate in community events a few times a year outside of normal business hours. As a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist at Orchard Grove Family Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Conducting dental hygiene assessments to identify oral health issues. • Removing plaque and calculus from teeth above and below the gumline. • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and suggesting products to facilitate home care. • Taking digital x-rays and intra oral photos • Applying fluoride treatments and sealants. • Recording patient information and treatment plans accurately in dental records. • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Requirements: • Current South Carolina licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. • CPR certification. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care. • Minimum 1-2 years experience preferred.
