Job description We are seeking an amazing clinical Dental Assistant in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. We have a vibrant general practice in the Lincoln Way Community. We have gone above and beyond in implementing covid-specific infection control procedures and equipment. Our practice focuses on general and family dentistry. We see patients Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am-7pm. You must be able to work until 7 PM all 3 days. Full time position with benefits. Salary commensurate with ability and experience. * * Job duties include, but are not limited to: Chairside assisting of the dentist during all dental procedures Taking x-rays Taking impressions Sterilizing instruments Turning over rooms Making temporary crowns/onlays Removing temporary crowns/onlays prior to final restoration delivery Reviewing post-operative instructions with patients Reviewing treatment plans with patients Entering dental andamp; periodontal charting, treatment plans, and case notes during appointments Cleaning and sterilizing of treatment rooms and common areas Scheduling patients Collecting money * * Minimum Requirements: A can-do, positive attitude A willingness to work and anticipate others’ needs A willingness to learn new skills Attention to detail Basic computer knowledge with Windows Basic typing skills * * Previous experience in the dental field is desirable.
