The Dental Receptionist represents the practice in all facets of patient services, which may include, but are not limited to the greeting of patients, answering the telephone, routing phone calls to the appropriate terminals in the practice, keeping the reception clean, stocking the beverage station, maintaining patient records and coordinating patient flow. The Dental Receptionist is the face of the practice, both in receiving phone calls and in greeting patients. It is therefore vital that the person holding this post is cheerful, friendly, professional, efficient, swift, compassionate, caring and patient.
