Description

We are a startup dental practice, seeking a responsible licensed and experienced RDH addition to our growing team. We are seeking candidates that can offer PT and FT positions. At Dentistry on the Plaza, we understand a hygienist plays a pivotal role in the day to day clinical operations of our practice. Our practice is committed to excellence in patient care and service. Practice Schedule: Tue to Thurs: 8am-5pm, lunch 1pm-2pm Fri: 8am-2pm Note: schedule flexibility can be discussed. Compensation: $40 - $45 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate requirements: North Carolina Dental Hygiene License Current on all necessary certifications Experience with Open Dental software and XTG handheld x-ray preferred but not required Nitrous certification and local anesthetic certification preferred but not required. Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills Has excellent clinical and communication skills Positive work ethic Description -Prepare treatment rooms, welcoming and seating patients -Checking medical history, take vitals, perform oral cancer screening, complete periodontal probing and charting -Take X-rays, intra-oral photos, and dental impressions wherever necessary -Deliver direct patient care, which includes cleaning, scaling and root planning, applying fluoride and antibiotic agents -Maintain thorough documentation and charts on each patient -Input clinical chart treatment plans and track treatment plans -Schedule recall visits -Organize, stock, set-up and clean operatory rooms, sterilize dental instruments properly and monitor supplies -Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment and operatory rooms according to proper OSHA protocol -Educate patients on proper oral care and the importance of diet on oral health -Reliable and flexible to perform additional dental duties if necessary -Review instructions with patients after dental procedures -Support dentists in all aspects of dental care Benefits for FT employees only: vesting period 90 days Dental benefits (in office only) Holiday and paid time off Uniform allowance Annual certification and license renewal allowance Please email your resume reflecting work history including dates and references.
