We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team! Applicant must be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and willing to be cross trained as a receptionist Hourly Pay: $17 - $24 (Based on experience) Responsibilities in the role: · Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team · Taking dental radiographs (x-rays) · Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures · Asking about the patientand#39;s medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse · Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment · Taking impressions of patientsand#39; teeth for study casts (models of teeth) · Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer · Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies) · Schedule and confirm appointments for providers in the office · File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage · Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients Minimum Qualifications: · Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment · Excellent communication and organizational skills · 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting · 1-2 years of experience with as a dental assistant To be the right fit you need to have a heart of service for your team and our patients, be someone for whom going above and beyond providing service comes naturally.
