Dental Hygienist $50-55 per hour Essential Job Functions: • Prepares dental equipment and instruments for patientsand#39; treatment • As assigned, performs patient triage and initiates patient care as appropriate to patients using dental hygiene procedures • Performs routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and fluorides and related procedures • Develops and implements individualized dental care plans for patients • Educates patient on dental care • Records and reports pertinent observations relating to the patients in Dentrix • Schedules patientsand#39; appointments in Dentrix • Communicates clinical information to Treatment Coordinators as needed for purposes of treatment planning • Prepares, reports and assists with patient telephone calls to specialists • Sterilizes operatory, equipment and takes instruments to lab for sterilization in preparation for next patient • Performs other job-related duties as assigned HIGHLIGHTS: - $650 annual uniform allowance - $250 annual continuing education allowance - Longevity bonus given at the end of the year - Paid time off (Sick, vacation andamp; holiday) - $50 bonus per day (if employees work their regularly scheduled day off) - Employer paid long term disability policy (no additional cost to the employee) - Employer paid $50,000 life insurance policy (no additional cost to the employee) - $5,000 annual dental allowance for employees andamp; their dependents and#43; ortho! - After 90 days, employees are eligible to enroll in medical, vision, short term disability, medical FSA or HSA and other ancillary products available.
