Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide preventive dental care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Take dental x-rays - Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain accurate patient records - Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment - Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques Requirements: - Valid Dental Hygiene license in IL - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficient in patient assessment, including identifying oral health conditions and risk factors - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Knowledge of dental office procedures, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft dental software system. - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care practices - Understanding of medical terminology and dental anatomy We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Dental Hygienists.
