Privately owned startup practice in Fort Mill is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office has been open for 2.5 years and is growing along with the Fort Mill community! We are looking for a hygienist willing to work a minimum of one day per week. No weekend or evening hours! Our goal is to keep private practice dentistry alive through providing an outstanding patient experience, without judgement, and with full transparency regarding treatment and financial options. We do this in an office designed to reduce anxiety and allow for our growth! Digital radiographs with handheld unit, intraoral cameras and a Trios scanner are used. Hygiene schedule is a single column, in a dedicated room and appointments are 50 minutes or more depending on procedure. The ideal candidate will be friendly and knowledgeable with confidence and grit. Must have a South Carolina dental hygiene license. At least 2 years of experience is preferred. Compensation is hourly and based on experience. Additional benefits of sign on bonus, PTO, monthly health stipend & CE stipend. As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Orchard Grove Family Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting dental hygiene assessments to identify oral health issues. Removing plaque and calculus from teeth above and below the gumline. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and suggesting products to facilitate home care. Taking digital x-rays and intra oral photos Applying fluoride treatments and sealants. Recording patient information and treatment plans accurately in dental records. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Requirements: Current South Carolina licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care. At least 2 years experience preferred.
