Dr. David Glasscock is currently looking for a DAII with at least 2 years of chairside dental assisting. North Carolina certified Dental Radiology. Dental knowledge and ability to communicate with patient in a professional manner is a plus. Must be very dependable and able to handle ordering office supplies, cleaning of operatories and office equipment, daily stocking of rooms. The right candidate for this position must be a personable, professional DAII. They must be respectful and take pride in their work. Ultimately, our office is looking for a long-term solution and someone to grow with professionally for years to come. This position is for full-time availability. Mon-Wed 8-5, Thur 7:30-2, Fri 8-2(usually 2 Fridays/month). Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of Dental Assisting experience required. Must be North Carolina certified to take x-rays Coronal polishing Must be comfortable speaking with patients about their teeth, smile, and oral health Must have a positive attitude, be friendly, and be able to work well with others Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible Must have a strong work ethic Must have a good attendance record Responsibilities: Setting up operatories for procedures Assist the dentist during the dental procedures, making patient chart entries Comfortable working on a computer, Dentrix knowledge preferred Take charge of sterilizing instruments. Cleaning the operatory between uses. Prepare it for use each day before the day of service Keeping operatories stocked with supplies Manage/maintain the dental supply room inventory Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, including operatories, sterilization, lab, supply room, equipment room and sharing with other dental team members the overall office cleaning duties Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off Uniform allowance Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
